Characterisation
This unit looks at the elements of Characterisation. We look at the actors ability to 'suspend your disbelief' and 'accept the fiction'. The student will participate in an extended improvisation called 'Survivor Island'. They will create a character that will react to certain situations. Based on the ideas of Dorthory Heathcote. Then student will write a story, this story will be passed on to another student who will transform it into a performance.
